March Break at the Wellington County Museum and Archives – spend an afternoon with The Services! Each day will highlight a different military service: Air Force, Army, Navy, Home Front, and the Legion. Admission is by donation. March 16-20
Magic, music, creatures, and more! March Break at the Orangeville Public Library
From Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 20 the library will offer a live ticketed entertainment show in the morning and a free drop-in library program in the afternoon. Monday will feature a magic show and games to challenge. The ever popular animal show is on Tuesday with a learn-to-knit workshop featuring the ladies from Orange thREADs. Your Wednesday can be filled with music and a creative writing session for tweens. DuffleBag Theatre will present Snow White on Thursday with a LEGO Jam at the library. The week concludes with a Mad Science show and computer and board games on Friday. $3 per person or three shows for $8. 10:30 to 11:15 am and 2 to 2:45 pm. Free Swimming and Skating in Orangeville
There will be two free swims held during March Break at Alder Street Recreation Centre on Wednesday, March 18 from 12-1 p.m. and 3-4 p.m.
Free skates will take place on Wednesday, March 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. and from 2-2:50 p.m. at the Alder Street Recreation Centre and are being sponsored by Access Orangeville. An additional free skate will take place on Friday, March 20 from 4-5:50 p.m. at Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre.
